Skiing

The Ski Resort nr. 1 in Italy - the Plan de Corones - is just around the corner! With 119 km of slopes and 32 modern lifts, it is one of the top winter destinations in the country and guarantees fun on long valley runs, black slopes - the so-called BIG FIVES, race tracks, freestyle and children's parks. Those who reach the summit by cable car will be welcomed by a 360° panoramic view of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage and of the majestic Alps. Simply breathtaking!
But the Plan de Corones is not only known for ist natural beauty, but also for its entertainment: concerts, festivals, sporting and cultural events regularly take place here. If you would like to take a short break from skiing and make a cultural detour, you can visit the museums "MMM Corones" and "Lumen" or pamper yourself with delicious culinary treats in the many mountain huts of this area.
And if you want to explore the Three Peaks ski resort, you can take the train "Ski Pustertal Express" directly from the station, which lies 50 m away, to the stop Viersciaco-Elmo. Here you can comfortably get into the cable car and enjoy exciting skiing experiences on the slopes!

Cross-country skiing

Thanks to its sunny location, the 4 km long and double-tracked cross-country ski run in Valdaora offers optimal conditions for classic
and skate skiers. The biathlon centre in Anterselva is also easily reachable by ski bus and offers over 60 km of perfectly groomed cross-country skiing trails.
With the "Ski Pustertal Express" train and the ski bus you can also comfortably reach the cross-country skiing mecca of Val di Casies: here you will find more than 45 km of cross-country ski trails, a fairytale winter landscape and many stopovers with delicious specialties from Val Pusteria.

Tobogganing

On the toboggan, ready, go! Valdaora has gained worldwide popularity not only because of skiing, but also because of tobogganing. Until a few years ago, the World Cup of natural track luge was held here. Today the 7 km long toboggan run of Valdaora is particularly popular with families and guarantees fun for young and old. On the magic carpets in the village, children can gain their first tobogganing experiences.

Ski touring & snowshoeing

Those who think the hustle and bustle in the ski areas is too much, will surely enjoy a ski tour or a snowshoe hike! Stomp through untouched snow landscapes up to the top of the mountain, where a fantastic view of the Dolomite peaks awaits you. For ski touring enthusiasts we recommend the Piz da Peres and the Cima Tre Dita, while snowshoe hikers will get their money's worth at Sorafurcia and Prato Piazza.
